Site practice

Application essentials

Four fundamentals that help protect finish quality across gypsum applications.

  1. 01

    Prepare the background

Remove dust, oil and bond-breaking residue. Fill deep gaps and reinforce junctions between dissimilar materials where required.

  2. 02

    Control the mix

Use clean water and equipment. Allow the powder to wet, then mix at low speed until homogeneous; do not add water or powder after mixing.

  3. 03

    Respect site conditions

Apply only within the confirmed temperature range. Protect fresh work from strong airflow, rapid drying and unsuitable damp conditions.

  4. 04

    Verify the selected product

Use the manufacturer’s current technical data sheet for mixing, thickness, open time, storage and safety requirements.
